Subscription type
There are two types of subscriptions available for Oracle Database Cloud Service: metered and non-metered
Metered
  • Acquire credits are purchased for the type of service that are spent as they are used
  • For example, Oracle EE Extreme Performance will burn credits faster than Oracle SE1 database
  • You can start with a base of 2 CPU, and in peak periods to do the scaling on 16 OCPUs, but 16CPUU will burn off loans faster
  • Stop the database will keep the credits
non-metered
